Ti imformo però che il file messages, non esiste e quindi ho fatto una ricerca certosina file per file con gedit ed ho trovato il file syslog che tiene conto di tutte le operazioni che vengono compiute dal S.O.
Ti anticipo brevemente una cronologia di eventi per indirizzarti.
L'impiegata arriva alle ore 07.55 e preme lo switch KWM per passare a Windows.
Alle ore 10.06 ripreme lo stesso switch per potersi connettere ad internet in quanto la connessione è possibile solo con questo computer, e quì si rende conto che non è possibile farlo per la mancanza del pulsante.
A questo punto alle ore 10.10 riavvia il tutto e si sposta sulla versione 11.10 dalla 12.04 dove si trovava.
La parte incriminata quindi si trova in questo arco temporale che è quello che ti ho postato.
