Canon MP495 scanner non funzionante

Ciao a tutti,
come da oggetto, ho una pixma mp495 i cui driver di stampante sono stati attivati pressochè in automatico durante l'installazione di Ubuntu 12.04, ma lo scanner non viene rilevato.
Come vedete lo scanner viene rilevato ma a quanto pare xsane non sa come gestirlo.
Quale altro applicativo posso installare o che procedura posso seguire per utilizzarlo?
