Sono passato Dalla 10.04 alla 12.04 ma i video mi vanno a scatti. Ho provato ad abilitare i driver proprietari (post release) ma mi dà questo errore:L'installazione di questo driver non è riuscita.
Consultare i file di registro per maggiori informazioni: /var/log/jockey.log

Grazie fin d'ora per l'aiuto

In quel percorso trovi il log dei driver aggiuntivi.

Ok ma come risolvo la situazione?

UP, il portatile di mia morosa ha lo stesso identico problema, qualcuno ne sa qualcosa?

Hai fatto un po' di casino con il tag 'code', quindi dovresti prima sistemarlo

Scusami Cristian_c ma sono molto inesperto, il file /var/log/jockey.log è vuoto poi c'è il file jockey.log.1 che è quello che ho incollato nel "code".
Sono al rientro dalle vacanze e mi dispiace non risolvere questo problema.

penso sia perchè forse hai provato ad installare quelli Aggiornamenti-Post release...

io con quelli "normali" non ho avuto problemi con la mia radeon HD 6670.

prova a rimuoverli bene compreso il Catalyst control center e riprova con i normali.

C'è una sola riga nel file che hai postato. Che vuol dire?

Ti invio un altro file che si chiamal "jockey.log.1".

Mi riferisco al tentativo di abilitare i driver proprietari

Purtroppo non posso darti questa informazione (non ricordo), il fatto è che con la versione precedente non ho mai avuto problemi di scheda video.
Ho l'hd partizionato e quando avanzo di versione poi ricarico tutte le vecchie impostazioni.
Ho intenzione di riinstallare tutto senza caricare il mio profilo.
Pensi che così risolvo il problema?
