Ubuntu 12.04: Error creating file system

Salve, ho un problema ricorrente con Ubuntu 12.04 riguardante la formattazione. In particolare quando tento di formattare una qualunque memoria appare il seguente messaggio di errore:

La formatti da smontata? Con cosa formatti?

Ah non so, lo dovresti chiedere a Mark Shuttleworth

Cioè lo fai cliccando col tasto destro sulla memoria sul launcher oppure utilizzando Gparted o Gestore dischi?

Prova a formattare con Gestore dischi o GParted smontandole prima!

No, è il modo in cui formatti.
