il risultato è sempre lo stesso, la pagina per gli effetti del desktop più la finestra dei dettagli sono nella foto seguente:

attivando la seconda viene richiesto il riavvio. dopo il riavvio il risultato è che il primo è attivato ma non in uso, il secondo come detto prima...torna non attivato. alla fin della fiera non ne ho funzionante nemmeno uno dei 2...

be intorno alle 16 l'avevo riavviato un tre volte per provare le varie modifiche...
inoltre anche alle 22 e qualcosa mi sembra di averlo riavviato nuovamente.

dopo questo episodio devo proprio ringraziarti per la pazienza e per tutto il tempo che mi stai dedicando!
adesso ho controllato e il pezzo di log che posto contiene tutte le prove che avevo fatto ( quasi sicuro
)
comunque ho visto che ci sono un po di syslog compressi e rinominati...rimangono li per sempre? che sia il caso di tirarne via un po' ogni tanto? ( non so come funzionano le cartelle e i file di sistema )

perchè le cose sono 2: o il pc lo butto ( dopo averlo preso a calci ), o perdo una c***o di giornata intera e reinstallo kubuntu scaricato 5 minuti prima rigorosamente dal sito ufficiale e masterizzato su un cd nuovo di pacca...e poi non ne voglio sapere ne di mint ne di problemi vari che mi continuano a venir fuori tra driver e programmi vari...
mi potresti quindi dire come dovrei fare? così faccio tutto subito e vedo se i problemi persistono...allora a quel punto torno alla prima opzione....

be....spero che tu non ritenga che non sappia distinguere un riavvio da una sospensione!!
la sospensione può esserci stata si....spesso lascio il pc in risparmio energetico....ma i riavii li ho fatti pure quelli...ti avevo detto verso le 16 e ti ho riportato un lasso di tempo molto più ampio proprio per essere sicuro al 200%...non possono non esserci...
