mouse wireless trust non funzionante

Salve a tutti. Ieri ho deciso di acquistare mouse e tastiera wireless. Ho preso un pacchetto della Trust, codice 16593 (trust.com/16593).
Appena provato su notebook con ubuntu 14.04 e funzionava tutto. Poi dopo qualche ora ho riprovato e nè mouse nè tastiera danno segni di vita.
Pensavo non riconoscesse il ripetitore usb e invece dando

Ho provato a montare il tutto su un altro pc sempre con ubuntu (12.04) e funziona, anche a una seconda prova. Ho aggiornato il sistema e cercato driver proprietari (non ne ho trovati).

Le batterie funzionano...

Si avevo anche già provato a cambiare porta usb... il sistema "vede" il ricevitore ma poi non trasmette col mouse o la tastiera. Ma su un altro pc funziona tutto.

Sull'altro pc hai Ubuntu 14.04 LTS o altra distro linux; ultimamente leggo sul forum di utenti che si lamentano del mouse usb che non funziona correttamente con la 14.04.

Entra nel BIOS, vedi se trovi le voce relative a tastiera usb e usb support; controlla che siano impostate su Enable.

Sull'altro ho la 12.04... infatti mi son gia' pentito di aver fatto l'avanzamento!!
Sul bios ho controllato ed e' tutto abilitato

Uno di quelli che ha problemi con Mouse USB sono io.

Per me il problema è diverso...sembra che le porte USB del portatile non siano alimentate..infatti il puntatore non si illumina (e il device non viene neanche visto).

Il tuo caso però mi sembra differente anche se il risultato finale è identico.

EDIT: io ho risolto in questo momento, ma non credo valga nel tuo caso, comunque la risposta è qui

ehmm ma il tuo problema era la porta usb non funzionante...

Ho visto che anche sul forum internazionale c'e' chi ha problemi analoghi ai miei e vien consigliato di provare a pulire il ricevitore usb... mah

EDIT: spulciando qua e là ho scoperto di non avere (più?) il file xorg.conf che gestisce la scheda video... e se fosse questo il problema? Che poi ho una scheda nvidia e in teoria dovrei averlo il file generato di default dai driver proprietari.

come vedi il pc riconosce la chiavetta-ricevitore "Product=2.4GHz keyboard and mouse", però poi nè mouse nè tastiera fungono (il pulsante di on-off c'è solo sul mouse quindi credo che risolto questo vada anche la tastiera). Trovo un po' misterioso che la prima volta abbia funzionato tutto e ora no. Ho ancora provato stamane su un altro pc e tutto funziona alla perfezione

Li ho dati senza ricevitore ma non è cambiato niente. Ora riavvio il pc e vedo se cambia la situazione.

Secondo te non può dipendere dalla scheda video e/o dai driver della scheda in uso? (io ho già provato a cambiarne 3, tra proprietari e non)

Non dipende dalla scheda video; forse è un bug del modulo driver usbhid che si occupa del funzionamento del mouse e tastiera usb.

Posso inventare una regola udev che forzi il funzionamento del mouse!
