[Risolto] Driver hp laserjet pro m12a

Salve a tutti,
con tante stampanti che c'erano alla mediaworld, mi sono comprato l'unica che poteva dare rogne!
Il sistema la vede
Ma arrivato a questo punto non trovo il nome della stampante dentro quell'elenco infinito e non so come fare.
Suggerimenti ?

sicuramente ci saranno anche pacchetti da scaricare ed installare.

Io ho avuto problemi con una laserJet pro P 1102W, ma tu quello che trovi su questo link sul tuo PC lo hai installato.

Si lo avevo letto anche io ma non mi va di accendere ogni volta la virtual machine per poter lanciare una stampa e comunque funziona anche con win7 e win10. Tanto vale avviare win10 che ho su altro HDD e stampare da li una volta copiato il file.
A questo punto spero che diventi quanto prima supportata da linux e nel frattempo continuerò a stampare da win......

Perfetto...Quindi posso riprendere la speranza che avevo messo nel cassetto che hp potesse sviluppare un driver compatibile e dargli fuoco...
Quindi sono costretto a sbarazzarmi di questa stampante....peccato....mi piaceva.....

Windows lo uso tipo 2-3 volte l'anno.... e quando lo avvio mi viene il voltastomaco.

Ottime notizie...
Con il nuovo kernel che ho installato, per l'esattezza,
Linux 4.10.17-xanmod19 e il firmware
HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw foomatic/foo2zjs-z3 adesso la stampante viene riconosciuta.
Ho provato a lanciare una stampa di un file di testo ed è partita

non uso questa stampante ma il link del firmware potrebbe essere utile a chi la usa
