Se non ho letto male in giro per la Rete, ho fatto una ricerca veramente molto veloce, il problema è che la versione di kernel 4.10 (la tua) non supporta o supporta male l'architettura Intel Cherry Trail, ossia l'architettura della tua motherbord, CPU, ... . I problemi dovrebbero essere stati risolti nella versione 4.11 del kernel. Non ti resta che aspettare (oramai poco) Ubuntu 17.10 oppure provare già ad installare la beta.
Se comunque aspetti il parere di qualche altro utente più ferrato di me sull'hardware è meglio.
