Salve
ho una periferica USB WIFI con chipset RTL8812AU che funzionava perfettamente. Al riavvio del pc il sistema operativo non rileva più la mia rete wifi 5G mentre rileva quella sui 2.4 (che non usavo) ed alla quale si connette benissimo. Le reti 5G dei vicini vengono rilevate. Ho provato a cambiare il nome della rete senza riuscire a vederla
potete aiutarmi?

probabilmente è un problema di canale. La tua scheda di rete WIFI non riesce a prendere il canale sulla quale è pubblicata la tua rete WIFI a 5 GHz.
Dal pannello di controllo del tuo router verifica su quale canale viene pubblicata la rete WIFI a 5 GHz.
Dal tuo PC, dai i seguenti comandi diagnostici e riportane qui l'output.

Forse mi sono spiegato male.
La sera prima si collegava perfettamente e non ho variato i settaggi del router, se co0llego il dongle al portatile vedo la rete e mi connetto

Il problema è che non rileva più la rete alla quale si connetteva fino alla sera prima, è sparita che se l'avesse messa in una sorta di blacklist

La tua scheda di rete WIFI è USB, è quella Ethernet che è PCI. E' per questo motivo che l'output del comando lspci non ti torna.

Nell'output di iwlist trovo "CasaFalco1" e "CasaFalco3" sui 2 GHz e una "sospetta" rete WIFI senza nome su Cell 12 - 5.22 GHz - Channel 44.
Apparentemente niente "CasaFalco" sui 5 GHz.

si fatta scansione da 2 cell ed 1 portatile le due CasaFalco che vedi sono router ed extender in 2.4Ghz, la rete sospetta è quella del vicino con id nascosto

Ovviamente CasaFalco in 5Ghz viene rilevata da tutti gli altri dispositivi, come anche dal pc fino a ieri sera ed oggi è magicamente sparita. Ho utilizzato anche l'applicazione Wifi Radar e non la rileva

Questo mi fa pensare che per la rete WIFI a 5 GHz è impostata la scelta del canale automatica. Probabilmente in questo momento la tua rete viene trasmessa su un canale che la tua scheda non riesce a ricevere.
