[Risolto]Simple Scan non vede scanner Canon TR4551
il mio computer principale è un vecchio modello AMD 64 2,2 MHz su cui gira Lubuntu 18.04. Ho acquistato una nuova stampante/scanner Canon TR4551, ma, mentre le stampe funzionano normalmente, non riesco ad usare Simple Scan che non vede la nuova macchina.
Ho provato ad installare i driver scaricati dal sito Canon, ma senza risultato. Come soluzione alternativa sto usando il software Canon ScanGear 2, ma rispetto a Simple Scan manca di diverse funzionalità.
Qualche suggerimento?

- La stampante è collegata via USB o tramite la rete?
- se provi ad aprire il programma come amministratore, tramite un terminale, scrivendo

Eppure le funzioni di stampa sono attive ed anche lo scanner funziona con Canon Scangear 2, che però ha meno funzionalità ed è molto più essenziale di SimpleScan

Poi, scorrendo il file che si apre, non trovo la linea LABEL="libsane_usb_rules_end", le più simili sono LABEL="libsane_scsi_rules_begin" (nella prima parte del file) e LABEL="libsane_rules_end" (alla fine del file)
