HO una stampantina HP ed avevo installato hplip, ora mi dava il segno di errore triangolo giallo con punto esclamativo, allora decido di reinstallare. hplip.
Prima scarico la versione hplip-2.8.9.run che però mi da errore seguente:

Sempre pacchetti librerie python che danno errore, questa volta sul computer desktop che uso ed ho upgradato la release senza errori.
cercando di installare manualmente non li trova:

Bisogna quindi attendere che venga aggiornato phplip per ubuntu 20.04 ?

Su Ubuntu 20.04 da Ubuntu Sofware vedo solo hplip formato snap

Non ho lo scanner hp, cioè ho il 200 che non c'è il driver, in ogni caso ho provato ad avviare anche l'applicazione per lo scanner e non si avvia:

Però ho come l'impressione che non avesse installato niente, ho rimosso e reinstallato quello del catalogo software, non si avvia, si apre una finestra termale che si richiude subito.. lo avvio direttamente dal catalogo software.. perché a menu non appare.

Io lo ho installato da synaptic e funziona benissimo

Anche io ho avuto lo stesso problema, poi ho installato da synaptic e ora funziona. Mi sapete dire come si accede alle utility tipo controllo livelli inchiostro, pulitura testine etc?

Bene a distanza di un po' di tempo ho riprovato a scaricare ed installare hplip-3.20.6 ma ho ottenuto lo stesso errore di mancanza dipendenze python.
Ho cercato un po' in rete e ho trovato il comando "sudo apt install hplip-gui" e si è installata una interfaccia per stampanti HP.
Fatte delle prove di stampa e funziona.

hplip-gui però dovrebbe essere alla versione 3 mentre hplip è alla 6
cmq la dipendenza si dovrebbe risolvere con

Ciao, io aggiornando dalla 19.10 alla 20.04 di Xubuntu ho avuto un problema simile che mi dava sempre come danneggiati sia hplib, sia simple scan (sane), sia lmsensors.

Anche se non sono d'aiuto ho paura si tratti di un problema di Giovinezza della 20.04... ma lascio che poú esperti di me dicano qualcosa... Ciao

Ps: a me a differenza tua non funzionava la reinstallazione del pacchetto tramite synaptic ne la riparazione del pacchetto e dipendenze correlate

Non avendo grandi esigenze già che stampa va bene... provero a vedere se il tuo comando risolve per le dipendenze di pyton in quanto utile anche al fatto che ccertbot non si avvia stesso motivo.

Si forse dovuto al fatto che al 20.04 è ancora giovane.

Al momento sta installando dopo il comando "sudo apt install python-dev-is-python3/focal" le dipendenze appaiono risolte e sto installando hplip-3.19.1... che è l'ultima versione appena scaricata, o almeno che mi ha fatto scaricare anche se il sito (https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imag ... /gethplip)) diceva versione 3.20.6 poi scelgo ubuntu e mi rende quella.

Non è ben capito se deve creare la cartella "/home/sam/.config/qt5ct" o il file "/home/sam/.config/qt5ct.conf" perché sembra che mentre prova cerca di creare il file "/home/sam/.config/qt5ct .conf" c'è uno spazio di troppo.

Funziona ma l'icona anche se presente non avvia l'applicazione.

a me la 3.20.3 si installa ma non funziona niente
la 3.20.5 si installa ma non vede lo scanner
la 3.20.6 non si installa nemmeno ma fallisce per un errore nello script

dalla mia esperienza...e ti garantisco che ho avuto a che fare con decine di stampanti e scanner, HP è quella meglio supportata in Linux.
Ma succede a volte che le distribuzioni non facciano bene il loro lavoro, quando vengono rilasciate e accorra sempre un po di tempo affinché siano risolti alcuni problemi. Questo è anche il motivo per cui viene consigliato l'avanzamento agli utenti Lts solo dopo l'uscita della prima point release, in questo caso Ubuntu 20.04.1.
