Stando a quanto documentato qua:
https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imag ... nal_p1102w

Codice: Seleziona tutto

python2 /usr/bin/hp-plugin
Sul mio PC e hplip 3.20.3, non funziona neanche con python3.5
fatto ecco il risultato

@saxtro » Leggete la documentazione .....

The device you are trying to setup requires a binary plug-in. Some functionalities may not work as expected without plug-ins.
Please run 'hp-plugin' as normal user to install plug-ins.
Visit http://hplipopensource.com for more infomation.

Note: hp-check can be run in three modes:
1. Compile-time check mode (-c or --compile): Use this mode before compiling the
HPLIP supplied tarball (.tar.gz or .run) to determine if the proper dependencies
are installed to successfully compile HPLIP.
2. Run-time check mode (-r or --run): Use this mode to determine if a distro
supplied package (.deb, .rpm, etc) or an already built HPLIP supplied tarball
has the proper dependencies installed to successfully run.
3. Both compile- and run-time check mode (-b or --both) (Default): This mode
will check both of the above cases (both compile- and run-time dependencies).

Check types:

Re: printer HP-LaserJet-Professional-P-1102w non funziona

Messaggio da saxtro »

Dall'output del comando di check eseguito,
io vedo due serie di errori.

- Pacchetti mancanti o non compatibili

Codice: Seleziona tutto

...
error: python3-pyqt4-dbus PyQt 4 DBus - DBus Support for PyQt4 OPTIONAL 4.0 - MISSING 'python3-pyqt4-dbus needs to be installed'

...
error: 'libcups2' package is missing/incompatible
error: 'python3-pyqt4' package is missing/incompatible
error: 'gtk2-engines-pixbuf' package is missing/incompatible
...
https://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/Amministrazi ... eProgrammi

pdb3 /usr/share/hplip/plugin.py
https://askubuntu.com/questions/1245010/hplip-driver-install-fails-on-ubuntu-20-04 ha scritto: UPDATE: I managed to get this to work, but this isn't really an "answer" or even really a "solution". I figured I'd see if the python debugger would tell me anything new so I ran hp-plugin from that, with the command pdb3 /usr/share/hplip/plugin.py -i -g, and, uh, it just plain worked. It still doesn't work without the debugger, but at least I was able to get my printer working again. I still cannot tell you what's wrong (and there's still something wrong here), but maybe more data will help.

Come dici tu è:
https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/KnowledgeBase/Troubleshooting/BasicHPLIPTroubleshooting ha scritto: * Is the user part of the lp group? Run "groups" in a terminal window and verifiy the user is a part of the lp group. If not, consult your Linux distro documentation on how to add the user to the lp group. In most distros you can run (as root): "usermod -g lp yourusername"

Check types:

verificando io ora
Current contents of '/var/lib/hp/hplip.state' file:
Plugins are not installed. Could not access file: No such file or directory

Rimane in attesa. Ho dovuto fermarlo manualmente.
