Installazione di Ubuntu su macchina virtuale (Virtualbox, Vmware, Qemu, Parallels, KVM, Xen, Virtual pc, ecc.), configurazione del software e gestione del sistema virtualizzato.
Salve, ho letto molti post riguardo ad errori simile al mio e tutti causati da virtualbox.
Anch'io, a causa di vitualbox, non riesco piu' a scaricare gli aggiornamenti.. e nemmeno Ubuntu Software Center si apre piu' >:(
Vi prego, aiutatemi... Io sono nuova dell'"ambiente" Ubuntu e non so dove mettermi le mani ???
PS: Penso sia utile sapere che ho installato Ubuntu su Vista tramite Wubi ed era l'unico modo che avevo per avere un SO funzionante poichè Vista, al momento, funziona solo in modalità provvisoria... (bad)
Comunque posto l'errore che mi appare quando tento di accedere ad Ubuntu Manager..

Ho installato con Wubi perchè non ho i cd di nessun sistema operativo e sono rimasta senza Windows in pieno agosto..
L'unico mezzo che avevo per far funzionare il pc era Wubi, dato che sono alle prime armi col computer e non so nemmeno masterizzare... In attesa di ripristinare Vista, sto usando Ubuntu in questo modo... :-[

bastava togliere gli apici all'inizio e alla fine della riga comunque... i repo di VBox sono utili in caso di aggiornamenti...
indubbiamente.........ma considerando che Wubi permette se non (sbaglio) appena 15GB di spazio per Ubuntu e che Virtualbox occupa anche lui dello spazio,ho pensato che gli aggiornamenti di Virtualbox potevo risparmiarglieli.

Comunque non ricordo quanto spazio occupa Wubi, ma avendone abbastanza sul computer, non me ne sono preoccupata dello spazio..
Questo SO è una forza ma io sono abituata a Windows.. Ma ora ho bisogno di "aggiustare" Ubuntu perchè altrimenti, resto praticamente "a piedi"... :-X

fatti un dvd con una distro (possibilmente la 10.04, visto che inizi ora con Ubuntu), avvia con quella, salva i dati che ti servono.
