allora il file lo trovi in  /etc/modprobe.d e si chiama blacklist.conf ed aggiungi queste righe alla fine
#questo l'ho aggiunto io e dovrebbe disabilitare i moduli
blacklist agpgart-intel
blacklist i915

salva e chiudi per la modifica del file devi essere root

poi dai anche sudo update-initramfs -u e riavvia

Ps immagino che il log tu l'abbia postato prima di fare le modifiche xorg.conf dice ancora load nvidia

Purtroppo nessun cambiamento; ho provato ad aprire ubuntu dopo aver editato grub con "quiet splash" ma ho dovuto riaprire con "single nomodeset i8042.nopnp" in bassa risoluzione, da lì ho provato ha lanciare compiz --replace ed unity --replace, ma sempre con le consuete risposte:

Devi mettere nouveau al posto di nvidia nell'xorg.conf

ma il problema + grosso è che continua a caricarti i moduli ...

sostituito nvidia con nouveu in xorg.conf ma nulla è cambiato

scusa l'insistenza ma dovresti ripostare il Xorg.0.log e l'xorg.conf

senza che te lo faccio fare 2 volte edita il grub e metti anche agpgart=off

scusa comincio a vedere doppio è agp=off

Scusami tu piuttosto per il tempo che ti sto usando; ti ringrazio ancora.
Editando in grub agpgart=off + quiet splash non si apre nulla la modalità "riga di comando " dopo un pò va in blocco; editando con agpgart=off + single nomodeset i8042.nopnp si apre, l'ambiente grafico sembraa un pò cambiato quasi in maggior risoluzione (anche se vedendo system/preferences/monitors nulla è cambiato)

beh una cosa è sicura i nouveau li ha caricati cmq prima avevo scritto male era agp=off sorry, anche se non credo faccia differenza da quanto ho visto sembra che non riesca + a disabilitare agpgart cmq diciamo che non passi nulla al kernel niente agp nomodeset etc che succede? dove si blocca ? Se invece passi i parametri ho capito che arrivi al login se provi a far partire unity cosa ti dice?

Niente sono quei stramaledetti moduli che rimangono l'unica  rimasta è provare switcheroo con questi driver che almeno vanno

meglio degli nvidia si potrebbero tentare soluzioni + drastiche per rimuovere quei moduli ma poi corri il rischio che "rimani a piedi"

visto che cmq è grazie a quelli che arrivi al login non so che dirti

magari non è stato inutile qualcuno che ne sa di + potrebbe trovare qualcosa di interessante per poterti aiutare

Purtroppo, come ti avevo segnalato in precedenza, in sys/kernel/debug non compare alcun file "vga switcheroo". Pensi che cambierebbe qualcosa se riinstallassi completamente natty?

Guarda per come la vedo io al momento non ti conviene visto che siamo a 20 giorni circa dal rilascio ufficiale. Personalmente

terrei la versione e continuerei a fare gli aggiornamenti, e sfrutterei questo tempo per provare a seguire le istruzioni che sono

http://linux-hybrid-graphics.blogspot.c ... linux.html iniziando dal punto 2. Comunque

riepilogo rapidamente quello che viene consigliato in questi blog (magari per chi avesse difficoltà con l'inglese e volesse cmq

provare).

                                                                   Preparazione

1) da terminale

Codice: Seleziona tutto

sudo apt-get install acpidump iasl
poi invio (che evidentemente installa i pacchetti acpidump ed iasl)

2)da terminale

Codice: Seleziona tutto

sudo acpidump > acpidump.txt && sudo acpixtract acpidump.txt && iasl -d DSDT.dat && ls -lDSDT.dsl

poi invio ( che crea il file DSDT.dsl e può/dovrebbe essere allegato nella segnalazione bug (nota1))

3) ormai credo sia chiaro da terminale

sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name && sudo dmidecode -s systemversion

(che vi permette di avere informazioni sul vostro sistema anche queste vanno inserite nella segnalazione del bug)

4) idem come sopra

lspci -vnnn | perl -lne 'print if /^\d+\:.+(\[\S+\:\S+\])/' | grep VGA
(altre informazioni stavolta specifiche per la scheda grafica)

                                                           Parte seconda - Installazione

                                                              (Versioni Ubuntu 10.10 e >)

1)

Codice: Seleziona tutto

 sudo gedit /etc/rc.local 
(apre il file rc.local che si trova in /etc)

2) una volta aperto aggiungere le seguenti righe :

 chown "username" /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch # al posto di username mettete la vostra
echo OFF > /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch  
(salvate e chiudete) (Nota2)

Nota1: questo è il link per la segnalazione bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/312756

(bisogna essere registrati su launchpad)

Nota2: da quanto dice la guida per le versioni Ubuntu 10.10 e successive non dovrebbe esserci bisogno degli script (se qualcuno

sa che non è così me lo dica pure che correggo) comunque nei link all'inizio li trovate tutti.

Nota3: Opzionale nella pagina di segnalazione del bug troverete un link specifico per Sony Vaio Z

da quale si può (se volete) scaricare un modulo patchato per il kernel chi se la sente può provare.

grazie la cosa è più che gradita. Seguo senz'altro il tuo consiglio e provo a smanettare un po' seguendo la guida; magari mi permetterò ogni tanto se c' è qualche novità a romperti le scatole. Grazie ancora di tutto. niky

niente il fatto è che è una cosa preoccupante se non si sbrigano a risolverlo praticamente tutti i sistemi sandy bridge (soprattutto nel

mobile) ne sarebbero affetti qualcuno mi corregga se sbaglio e visto come stanno andando le cose direi che non è una bella

prospettiva
