[Risolto] problemi condivisione dati ubuntu 14.04 e wind8.1

Ciao a tutti,
Leggo spesso il forum per trovare risposte a molte domande ma questa è la prima volta che scrivo perchè ho un problemino che non riesco a risolvere nonostante ho letto varie guide e vari post.
Ho un pc con ubuntu 14.04 dove ho collegato stampante e sono presenti vari documenti ma non riesco ad attivare la condivisione di rete per documenti e stampanti con altro pc con sistema windows 8.1.
Diciamo che in maniera random dal pc con windows riesco a vedere le cartelle condivise poi dopo poco non visualizzo più nulla.
Dal pc con ubuntu non riesco proprio a vedere l'altro computer.
Ho installato samba, e come ho letto in vari post ho modificato alcune parti nella sezione smb.conf.
Qualcuno mi riesce ad aiutare

Per condividere la stampante collegata ad un PC con Ubuntu è meglio configurare il server CUPS, non Samba: Per questo punto apri un thread a parte se non ci riesci: 1 thread = 1 problema

Grazie per la risposta,
allora per vedere le cartelle Windows da ubuntu vado semplicemente su "esplora rete", poi mi appare "rete windows", "gruppo home", e qui se il pc con winows è connesso tramite wifi riesco a vederlo.
su windows stessa cosa vado nella sezione delle reti poi tutte le reti del gruppo di lavoro, mi trova altri pc connessioni alla stessa rete ma il pc con ubuntu non lo trova.
Ho seguito anche varie guide per il server cups ma quello lo risolverò poi, ti posto la configurazione del file /etc/samba/smb.conf

L'esplorazione degli share di rete ha un comportamente diciamo "aleatorio": dipende da come sono impostate diverse cose, tra le quali il server Samba. Fossi in te non conterei su questa funzionalità, data per scontata in una rete con soli PC Windows. Ciò non significa che il server Samba non funzioni ugualmente

In questo caso per raggiungere gli share di rete di un PC Windows, supponiamo di indirizzo IP 192.168.0.100 fai così: apri Nautilus (file manager) fai apparire la barra degli indirizzi (CTRL+L) e inserisci l'indirizzo IP del PC Windows con questo formato smb://192.168.0.100. Se ti viene richiesto di autenticarti, l'utente e la password da utilizzare sono sempre quelle di un utente definito sul PC Windows, con diritto di accesso allo share al quale vuoi collegarti

?!? In Windows vengono tentati 4 invii poi il comando termina comunque. E su Ubuntu che il comando va interrotto (con CTRL+C), ma io ti hi chiesto di dare il comando di ping su Windows
