Stampante/scanner HP non funziona

Ciao a tutti. Oggi ho installato K 20.04 e la mia stampante/scanner HP deskjet 3760 non funziona, nonostante il sistema il sistema l'abbia riconosciuta ed installata. Sapete quale può essere il problema? Grazie!

Aggiornamento. Ho formattato il pc e installato ubuntu 20.04. La stampante viene riconosciuta automaticamente ma funziona solo la stampante, non lo scanner. Dritte?

Riesumo la discussione, perchè, ad oggi, stampante e scanner ancora non funzionano , nonostante qualche aggiornamento delle librerie cups fatto oggi...
Spero che risolvano, perchè vedo che tanti hanno lo stesso problema con le stapanti HP.

EDIT: ho provato a dare il comando

sudo hp-check -r

e a quanto pare manca il pacchetto python3-pyqt4 che, per altro, non si trova nemmeno su synaptic, ed ho installato un altro pacchetto marcato come mancane, ovvero sane-utils , senza ottenere risultati,mentre altri due pacchetti segnalati come missing/incompatible sono installati.
Aggiungo questo messagio, contenuto nell'output del comando sopra:

Da quel che capisco (poco) bisognerà attendere che risolvano gli sviluppatori

anche sto mandando molte benedizioni ai programmatori.
La mia ho envy4525 una volta stampa e dieci no, la cosa incredibile è proprio questo andamento random.... quando decide di stampare va benissimo, dopo 10 minuti se riprovo a volte va mentre altre volte dice che ci sono errori di comunicazione
Come scanner invece nessun problema

Ho installato hp-lip (aggiornato) e cups ma non riesco a risolvere. Qualche suggerimento oltre che passare a Win10 per stampare una pagina?

Rettifico: con Fedora funziona lo scanner ma non la stampante. Ho risolto... tornando a Windows...

tornare a windows per poter stampare un foglio non è bello!!!

ho letto e l'ho installato manualmente, ma i problemi non si sono risolti.

E sono problemi che abbiamo in tanti...

L'ho detto in qualche post in questo forum, hp ancora non ha rilasciato i drive per la 20.4. Io ho risolto lasciando la 3.20.3 e installando i soli plugin. Aspetterò i drive hp appena disponibili. Un'altro suggerimento che normalmente dò è quello di lasciare la vecchia distribuzione, funzionante, finchè la nuova non ha risolto i problemi che ci affliggono, se ci affliggono. Per lo scanner prova con -> simple-scan

Buongiorno,

mi associo alla tematica con una stampante multifunzione HP Photosmart b109a-m che stampa correttamente ma non scansiona.
hp-setup peraltro non riconosce alcun device sulla porta USB.

Installato hplip gui, modificato il file models.dat che conteneva il nome della stampante scritto non correttamente ma senza esito positivo

Il tutto con Ubuntu 20.04 LTS e hplip 3.20.5

Qualcuno ha qualche spunto per risolvere?

Questa mattina negli agionamenti del SO è uscito il nuovo kernell che va d'accordo con i drive 3.20.5

vero, ma ho provato a reinstallare la stampante e i risultati sono uguali a prima
