Lmsensors non trova i sensori

Ciao a tutti, ho seguito questa wiki per installare lmsensors

Ma quando arrivo al punto in cui digitare sensors ottengo:

No sensors found!
Make sure you loaded all the kernel drivers you need.
Try sensors-detect to find out which these are.


E' dovuto al non caricamento dei moduli? Perchè non ho ben capito come inserirli, cioè quando dice:


ed inserire tutti i moduli che prima abbiamo caricato manualmente. Salvare e chiudere il file.


Mi si apre un file di testo così:

Ho capito che devo caricare ma come si fa?

Il problema è dovuto a questo o proprio non vede i sensori ad esempio per hw troppo recente?

Devi aggiungere i nomi dei moduli dopo lp  e salvare

Ho aggiunto i nomi senza # e altro ma continuo ad avere lo stesos messaggio:

ma sensors-detect ti ha trovato qualcosa?. Alla fine ti è uscito qualcosa del tipo

Per caricarli, subito dopo aver dato sensors-detect devi dare

 sudo modprobe [nomemodulo] 

per tutti i moduli che il comando ti ha restituito tra le righe cut here. Una volta che hai controllato che non ci siano problemi tipo conflitti devi inserire tutto quello compreso tra i cut here in etc/modules per farli caricare all'avvio

se il sensors-detect ti ha restituito quanto quotato sopra vuol dire che ha trovato i sensori e bisogna solo caricarli.

Salvato poi ho  fatto:

Per avere un'idea di cosa abbiamo impostato dare i seguenti comandi per aggiornare i moduli appena caricati

sudo depmod -a
sudo update-modules

Per vedere se tutto funziona digitare

sensors

E il risultato è:

No sensors found!

Try sensors-detect to find out which these are.

Che CPU hai? se hai una delle ultime intel devi aggiornare lm-sensors all'ultima versione, e anche il kernel direi, altrimenti niente supporto, altrimenti aspetta gutsy.

l'unico modo per vedere la temperatura, con questo processore e questa scheda madre, e' installare il kernel 2.6.22 che contiene il modulo coretemp, il nuovo supporto ai processori core duo che rileva la temperatura all'interno della cpu.
Per la temperatura degli hard disk puoi installare hddtemp

hddtemp funziona, un pò laborioso ogni volta da terminale digitare il tutto ma funziona.


Nessuno sa dirmi qualcosa in più sul nuovo kernel con supporto per coretemp?

l'importante e' averlo, poi ad esempio per KDE ci sono diverse applet che usano hddtemp per visualizzare la temperatura ..sia per superkaramba che per il kicker
per gnome non lo so...

Se vuoi vedere l'output dei sensori sul pannello di gnome
