Utilizzo Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy dalla tribe 4. Lo ho installato sul compter desktop di casa e tutto filava liscio fino a poco più di un mese fa. In seguito ad un update, compiz ha smesso di funzionare. Premetto che il PC in questione è un Pentium 4 HT 2.8 GHz, 512 Mb di ram, ATI Radeon 9200 con 128 Mb (AGP).
Ho provato a vedere lo scritpt di avvio di compiz (/usr/bin/compiz) e non mi sembra che la scheda in questione sia blacklistata.
I driver che ho utilizzato sono gli ati presenti di default.
Pensavo che gli update successivi avrebbero risolto il problema ma così non è stato.
Posto anche il mio xorg.conf, qualora dovesse servire
