[Compiz] mi si spegne il monitor

salve, sono un utente linux da pochissimi giorni...(quindi per favore eventuali spiegazioni....a prova di idiota...) :-[
sono riuscito a installare compiz e sono riuscito a mettere il cubo 3d....tutto da terminale...ovviamente copiando da nn ricordo dove le istruzioni....
fatto questo però è cambiata un'opzione...ovvero...se non muovo il mouse dopo 10 minuti esatti mi si spegne il monitor (non ho un portatile quindi problemi di risparmio energetico ecc...) noioso quando si guarda un film muovere il mouse dopo 10 minuti...ho provato a togliere lo screen saver che cmq era impostato su 1 ora...e ho anche guardato alla voce amministrazione----> schermi e grafica....ma nn c'era niente che sembrasse centrare con questo problema.
che devo fare?

Hai provato a guardare su Sistema->Preferenze->Gestione alimentazione?

Stesso tuo problema...dopo dieci minuti esatti mi si spegne il monitor, sebbene in gestione alimentazione tutto sia settato su "mai"

Anchio avevo lo stesso problema...smanettando un pò ho trovato la soluzione..
Sistema>Preferenze>Salvaschermo
da lì imposti anche il tempo
