ciao a tutti ho installato compiz, tutto perfetto tranne il fatto che alle volte i bordi delle finestre diventano bianchi, e devo passare sulla x per farlo tornare a posto, ho provato a fare metacity --replace ma oltre ad avermi tolto i driver con restrizione e tutti gli effetti al riavvio non è cambiato niente....come posso fare??

il problema delle finestre bianche credo sia un bug, aspetta che lo correggano

mmmm non avrà senso ma ma appena gli ho dato il comando me li ha disattivati....ho dovuto riattivarli e dopo ha funzionato, ma ora a ogni riavvio gli effetti vengono disattivati.....

una cosa sono i driver, un'altra gli effetti. Dopo metacity --replace ti ha disabilitato i driver?? com'è possibile, per fare una cosa simile devi avere i pivilegi di root  per modificare xorg.conf! non è che hai dato qualche comando con sudo?

Ma poi, appena avvi andando su "sistema>preferenze>aspetto>effetti grafici" cosa trovi??

praticamente, tu hai visto i bordi bianchi, quindi hai aperto un terminale e hai dato:

da quel momento sei andato in "sistema> amministrazione>gestore driver con restrizioni", hai dato la password di superuser (la tua per intenderci) e hai trovato i tuoi driver disabilitati?

se è così dai due comandi

se chiudo il terminale mi va a schermo pienoi, le due barre non ci sono + e diventa ingestibilie

non so aiutarti su quale possa essere il problema, posso solo dirti che se veramente non riesci ad impostare che gli effetti grafici si attivino all'avvio puoi fare

a questo punto il problema è più grosso, e non so al momento la soluzione. La potrei trovare su google ma ora devo uscire prova a dare un'occhiata tu.

ciao,
dunque per quanto riguarda il problema dell'"effetto" bianco sulla barra delle finestre, sappi che (lo avevo anche io) puoi risolverlo cambiando il tema delle stesse, io ad esempio ho utilizzato EMERALD risolvendo...
prova e fammi sapere.
mentre per quanto riguarda l'avvio automatico di compiz all'accensione del pc devi fare così:
apri SISTEMA, poi clicca su PREFERENZE e infine su SESSIONI. qui clicca su AGGIUNGI e scrivi su nome COMPIZ FUSION, su comando  /usr/bin/fusion-icon
salva e chiudi. All'avvio andrà in automatico 

aspetto tue notizie...
se risolvi modifica il titolo aggiungendo RISOLTO.

si mi sa di averlo modificato mentre scrivevi, chiedo scusa, ma credevo fosse finito li invece dopo un po che aspettavo è venuta fuori anke quella parte li, ora ho dato compiz--replace facico un due controlli e poi vi dico come va
