Salve ragazzi,  qui continuo ad avere problemi su problemi, ma spero possiate darmi una mano voi.
nelle ultime installazioni ho sempre problemi con le dipendenze. vi riporto l'errore datomi:

In sistema-amministrazione-gestore pacchetti synaptic,
menu impostazioni - archivi pacchetti
devi aver spuntato tutte le caselle delle schede software ed aggiornamenti.

Ricordati anche di premere il pulsante "ricarica" prima di chiudere!

allora...non è cambiato nulla. se non che ora l'errore è esteso anche alle antre applicazioni installate:(.
fammi sapere se posso fare altro, che qua è un casino. Disinstallare le applicazioni e reinstallarle??

e vi faccio presente che se provo con il comando sudo
dpkg -r --force-all + nome prog

in pratica mi restituisce lo stesso errore....
grazie cmq dell'aiuto e aspetto consigli!

Io proverei a commentarli, insieme alla linea del cd rom (questa la potresti anche cancellare, ne hai un'altra identica, già commentata), e poi (dopo un update, ovviamente)

* che vuol dire che devo commentarli?
* che vuol dire che posso cancellare la linea del cd rom?
* chiaramente queste modifiche vanno fatte sulla schermata restituita dal comando

ho fatto tutto il necessario  ed ho provato con tutti e 2 i comandi, ma nn è cambiato nulla.
per quanto riguarda il 'reconfigure' l'ho cambiato in 'configure', sperando in un errore di scrittura, ma niente.
l' unica cosa che posso credere è di non aver fatto l'upgrade nel modo corretto, in quanto ho solo salvato il file modificato...e nn so se questo basta. che diavolo può essere?

Riepiloghiamo!
Il file che hai modificato ( /etc/apt/sources.list ) deve contenere solo righe che abbiano al loro interno il riferimento a Gutsy. Quelle che non lo hanno vanno eliminate mettendoci davanti un #.
Salvato il file, devi caricare nuovamente i riferimenti mediante synaptic, che trovi in Sistema, Amministrazione
premendo il pulsante Ricarica.
