[Risolto]La schermata del login ha una risoluzione elevata

Salve a tutti
Ho un problema nella schermata di log con una risoluzione di 1920x1080, mentre il desk l'ho a 1280x1024.
Ho letto vari post ma non ho risolto in quanto nel xorg non ho le risoluzioni indicate.
Uso la 7.10 ed i driver restricted per ati.
Potete darmi consigli?

Si scusami è la schermata di login
Anzi colgo l'occasione per mostrarvi l'xorg.conf perchè secondo me è strano, sono nuovo di ubuntu ma il 7.04 era molto diverso, e la scheda video mi viene riconosciuta come generic mentre fglrxinfo mi da proprio una ati con driver 8.37

Be' che dire prova a dargli
sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Francamente di driver ati non me ne intendo comunque poco ma sicuro quello xorg non è a posto.

Eppure Compiz va bene!
Ho un certo timore a riconfigurare l'xorg.
