ciao,
ho provato in tutti i modi di installare i file taz.gz con ark ma ho bisogno di ritornare al vecchio metodo in cui navigando ,il pc mi chiedeva di installare su linux i plugin.

Con che programmi questi si installano da soli?
Es. sono su deezer.com e mi si chiede di installare i plugin di macromedia .

come mai inoltre non trovo firefox, macromedia,ecc, in adept manager???

Probabilmente non hai attivato tutti i repository. Apri il file /etc/apt/sources.list e confrontane il contenuto con quello che trovi in questo wiki.

ciao ,non funziona perchè le cartelle non le ho come indicato nella guida!
Prima avevo la versione 6 fi kubuntu, adesso la 7 e ci sono troppi problemi!
Pensa che sono aggiiunti/disinstalla programmi e firefox è non cliccabile, lo vedo in trasparenza!
Come faccio a reinstallare la vecchia versione di kubuntu?Come cancello la nuova?

E' tardi e sono stanchissimo per cui magari dico cavolate, però a occhio c'è un po' troppa roba commentata per cui non trova i repo... Ti consiglierei di procedere nel seguente modo:
1. fatti una copia di backup del tuo sources.list (sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /home/user/Desktop)
2. cancella il contenuto del tuo sources.list con questo:

Apri konsole (basta premere F2 e scrivere Konsole). Da riga di comando digita

Cancella il contenuto del file che verrà aperto e fai copia incolla con queste righe qua sotto

Vado allora manualmente a cercarmi il file source list , cancello il contenuto e ci metto il tuo ma continua a dirmi che non ho

Wait... Stai usando kubuntu o ubuntu? se non ti funge sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list prova allora sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Per usare i diritti di root devi usare il comando "sudo", poi kate e gedit sono due editor di testo (rispettivamente di kde e gnome) per cui i comandi sopra vogliono sostanzialmente dire "apri da root (sudo) con un editor di testo (kate o gedit) il file /etc/apt/sources.list". Chiaro?
Se non va sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list vuol dire che non hai installato kate.

ciao, perdonatemi ma non sono molto chiaro.
Ecco il  problema

Sono su KUBUNTU GUTSI
Kate è già installato ma non ho i diritti per cambiare e modificare i file testo su KATE
Quindi non posso cambiare il source list come mi chiedete voi
Sono pieno di bug e non riesco ad installare nessun programma...pensate che su adept , quando clicco con il destro per installare il programma, il sistema lo segna con BREAK


Non ci capisco nulla!!!!!
