che versione di ubuntu hai? hai installato deluge dai repository o l'hai preso da qualche altra parte?

ma l'hai presi da lì per esigenze particolari? perchè io per fare una prova l'ho installato dai repo (sudo apt-get install deluge-torrent) e funziona (almeno si apre, poi qui ho le porte chiuse e quindi non posso vedere se scarica ). la versione è la 0.5.4.1

no, ho scoperto questo programma su un blog che consigliava di andare sul sito e prendere il .deb più aggiornato... l'ho usato per qualche mese, aggiornando sempre la nuova versione, e non ho mai avuto problemi... stamattina è successo sto fattaccio...
ho provato nell'ordine a reinstallare python, reinstallare la versione .deb, reinstallare la versione dai repository, cancellare la cartella nascosta deluge nella home .config.... e con l'ultimo tentativo il programma è ripartito... però al riavvio son tornato al punto di partenza...

se cancellare la direcotry di deluge nella home risolve almeno momentaneamente il problema allora può darsi che ci sia qualcosa che va storto allo spegnimento e che lascia qualcosa di sospeso o corrotto nelle configurazioni. lo spegni correttamente la momento in cui chiudi il pc? magari gli da fastidio essere spento insieme al resto, come capitava a me con azureus, che quando lo riavviavo era tutto arrabbiato e diceva "uè, e vedi di spegnermi correttamente la prossima volta!"

Anche io ho lo stesso problema.
Per altro crasha durante il wizard, piu percisamente dopo aver chiesto info sul tipo di pc.

a dire il vero il problema lo ho avuto anche io ed ho risolto in maniera davvero banale. Ho ripulito tutto togliendolo dalle scatole e l'ho re installato. Tutto ha funzionato. Secondo me è un problema del software. Devo dire che di client torrent ne ho provati parecchi sotto il gibbone ma non sono soddisfatto. Se può tornarti utile "anche se a me non piace" azureus sembra fuznionare bene anche se per me è pesante. Io ho pagato l'esigenza in questo modo. Ho installato utorrent con wine e va da Dio.

Azureus è davvero pachidermico.
Per le mie esigenze preferirei non scaricare torrent invece che usare azureus ( che su win andava stra bene )

Cmq se eseguo Deluge da terminale mi apapre questo e basta:

Purtroppo non riesco a copiarlo dall'inizio, non riesco neanche a inviare l'output del comando ad un file.
Comunque dando un'occhiata veloce pare che manchino parecchi file, sono andato a controllare a mano nelle varie cartelle ed effettivamente non ci sono.
Non so pero' se la causa del problema sia quella, perchè o prima funzionava comunque senza quei file oppure si sono cancellati successivamente.
