Mi serve urgentemente un rc2.d

Ciao a tutti...
Ho fatto una caxxata bella grossa...
Ho cancellato il file etc2.d e al suo posto ho messo uno script di mia scrittura che spegne e riaccende la scheda wireless..
Cosa posso fare, oltre a reinstallare ubuntu?

Per quale ubuntu? Non è detto che siano tutti uguali.
Io ho feisty. etc2.d non so che cappero sia. /etc/rc2.d è una directory contenente dei link a files in /etc/init.d. Con un po' di pazienza potresti anche rifarli a mano. Ecco la mia lista:

The scripts in this directory are executed each time the system enters
this runlevel.

The scripts are all symbolic links whose targets are located in
/etc/init.d/ .

To disable a service in this runlevel, rename its script in this directory
so that the new name begins with a 'K' and a two-digit number, where the
number is the difference between the two-digit number following the 'S'
in its current name, and 100.  To re-enable the service, rename the script
back to its original name beginning with 'S'.

Ti ringrazio per la risposta.. Ma sembra che vada anche così..

ho già riavviato un paio di volte e non sembra risentirne della mancanza di rc2.d

Sì, è un po' un mistero, upstart non lo conosco, col vecchio /etc/inittab mi destreggiavo di più.
