Errore installazione programmi da console

Ciao a tutti,
da qualche giorno ho installato UBUNTU 6.06 e oggi dopo aver già fatto i primi passi sulla console (sudo apt-get install ...) ho avuto qualche problema: fino a ieri con i programmi che ho provato tutto ok. Oggi lancio:

sudo apt-get install vls e guardate cosa succede:

sudo apt-get install vlc
Password:
Lettura della lista dei pacchetti in corso... Fatto
Generazione dell'albero delle dipendenze in corso... Fatto
E: Impossibile trovare vlc

Queste righe valgono per qualsiasi programma...
Che vuol dire?!?! Cosa devo fare????

dai da terminale

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

e riporta qui quello che ti da

Nota che ieri funzionava, poi con Synaptic ho scaricato alcuni programmi e da allora non ha funzionato più.
Ecco cosa mi ha dato:

togli i commenti (#) davanti a tutte le righe che hanno una voce deb

con il commento lui non considera i repo, percio' ne hai molti disabilitati.

dopo averlo fatto e salvato il file, dai un

sudo apt-get update
