[Boot] Hard disk da 2.5" con partizioni errate

Ciao,
qualcuno mi può aiutare per riparare un HD da 20GB da 2.5"
Durante un'installazione di ubuntu 7.10 su un IBM-Thinkpad devo aver fatto qualche pasticcio con le partizioni.
Alle successive partenze da errori sul disco.

Se provo nuovamente ad installare con LIVE-CD niente al momento del partizionamento si pianta....

Ho provato a partire con il LIVE-CD e poi provare altri software di gestione delle partizioni a cancellare tutto....

Questo è quanto mi succede con "sfdisk"

premendo p per elencare le partizioni ottengo

cancello le partizioni e alla fine ottengo

Quando tento di consolidare con il comando di scrittura ottengo

Calling ioctl() to re-read partition table.

Alla successiva ripartenza nulla è cambiato.........

Con altri partizionari sempre la stessa cosa mi lasciano agire sulle partizioni ma alla scrittura il disco non cambia, come se fosse protetto.....

Con i partizionatori win ovviamente nulla.....
