RISOLTO: Effetti su Hardy Heron

Un saluto a tutti, visto che è tanto che manco nel forum.

Ho appena installato Hardy Heron e come prima curiosità ho cercato di abilitare gli effetti visivi, ma non sono riuscito proprio come nelle precedenti versioni.
Ho un Acer 1650 con scheda video ATI Radeon X1300, ho messo su i driver proprietari e cercato di installare compiz (seguendo delle giude), ma non riesco proprio.
MI chiedo: riuscirò mai a vedere il cubo e gli altri effetti sul mio portatile?? ???

mmm...convengo con te!Anche io ho una scheda ati e non appena sono passato a Hardy ieri Compiz è deceduto!non mi si attivano più gli effetti 3d e non capisco anche perchè. Ho i driver open e su gutsy andavano una meraviglia,come si fa?

compiz è già installato. ho la tua stessa scheda e funziona tutto benissimo. Vai in Preferenze->aspetto->abilita effetti

Fatto e gli effetti funzionano. 
Solo c'è un po' si sfarfallio quando sposto le finestre o cambio desk, e poi non mi parte il cubo!
che faccio?

installa compizconfig-settings-manager. Poi vai in preferenze->centro di controllo e ti sfoghi a mettere tutti gli effetti che vuoi

posso fare il guastafeste della situazione? ...a me non funziona proprio un bel niente!...come faccio?Posto tutto quello che posso postare:
