Terratec Cinergy Hybrid T USB XS FM

[AL9000]

Salve, scusate in anticipo per la lunghezza del post, mi serve una mano e cerco di dare tutte le info che posso.

Come mi aspettavo sto avendo difficolta nel setup di questa scheda tv (che dovrebbe essere differente dalla terratec cinergy hybrid xs), sono 3 giorni che appena ho un momento mi metto a smanettare e leggere quintali di info su internet.

come si vede dal dmesg, la periferica è riconosciuta (ho già caricato anche il modulo em28xx che, credo ma correggetemi se sbaglio, sia il driver per il mio tv tuner ibrido)

manca qualcosa?

3) non avendo ottenuto nessun risultato positivo copiando (in /lib/firmware) le varie 4 versioni dei firmware (una alla volta, ovviamente) che si trovano in molti siti internet, volevo estrarre il firmware direttamente dal driver windows che è emBDA.sys

ho letto diverse discussioni su come fare ma non c'ho capito molto e vorrei riuscirci in modo da essere sicuro che il firmware è quello giusto per la scheda.

Ovviamente ho letto anche qualche discussione qui sul forum, alcuni spunti e link sono interessanti ma non riesco comunque a settare il tuner.

Ho trovato questa interessante guida (che non so se può valere anche per la mia scheda) ma mi fermo nel punto in cui dice di caricare il modulo em2880-dvb (che non è presente nel mio sistema)

Ultima informazione (abbastanza ovvia, sennò non starei qui a chiedervi aiuto):

quando inserisco il tuner nella porta usb, non viene creato nessun nodo nella cartella /dev
eccovi i risulati

Guarda io ho la tua stessa scheda senza fm. Penso che i driver siano gli stessi, io uso gli em2880-dvb e va perfettamente (tranne un bug in avvio che mi impedisce di accendere il pc con la scheda connessa).

proverò a seguire la guida, ma già il fatto che tu mi dica di aver usato gli em2880-dvb mi mette in allarme: io non ho questo modulo presente nel sistema, anche dopo aver compilato v4l-dvb.

Infatti i mie driver non sono i v4l-dvb ma quelli v4l-dvb-experimental, i primi non hanno il supporto per la mia scheda, quindi non mi funziona!

Fm che significa? Che ha una radio fm?

I drivers penso siano identici, per il firmware non lo so, magari il dvb funziona ma la radio no!

sono, nel frattempo, riuscito ad estrarre il firmaware dal driver di winzoz e l'ho schiaffato nella cartella di competenza.

quindi a questo punto l'unica cosa che dovrebbe mancare dovrebbe essere sto benedetto em2880-dvb

Ma ho qualche dubbio: se quel modulo servisse solo per il digitale, non dovrei poter utilizzare per lo meno la tv analogica (con em28xx)?

Guarda, con quei drivers mi funziona il dvb alla perfezione, per quanto riguarda l'analogico il video va, l'audio no, ma questo è risaputo e si risolve con un ponte fra la scheda dvb e quella audio.

Prova a seguire alla lettera la guida di divilinux, firmware incluso.

ho provato la guida suggerita, ho provato v4l-dvb, v4l-dvb-kernel, v4l-dvb-experimental e em28xx-new....il tutto senza successo.

probabilmente sbaglio qualcosa io.

Cosa faccio:

scarico con hg i driver, li compilo, utilizzo la versione 3 del firmware e riavvio

Carico i moduli em28xx e em2880-dvb

Attacco il tv-tuner ma non ottengo i risultati voluti.

Ho trovato questa discussione dove si dice: "The Cinergy Hybrid T USB XS _FM_ has totally different chips compared
with the other devices.
Maybe I'll put the driver online today for it, This is my favourite
device at the moment actually it doesn't become as warm as all the

purtroppo il primo link da te segnalato è proprio la guida che sto cercando di seguire, visto che in una mailinglist a cui partecipa Markus Rechberger (lo sviluppatore dei driver), ho visto che lui dice che la scheda che ho è " fully supported (analog-tv, dvb-T and radio fm)" proprio tramite la guida che hai segnalato

solo che quando arrivo alla fine, do dmesg e...

vorrei sapere se sei riuscito a far funzionare la Terratec Cinergy Hybrid T USB XS FM.
Ho il tuo identico modello Bus 002 Device 007: ID 0ccd:0072 TerraTec Electronic GmbH ,
ma sono messo peggio di te, nel senso che i driver sembrano ok, ma penso di avere il
firmware sbagliato, xchè non viene riconosciuto nulla, anche se i moduli sono caricati.

causa trasloco non ho ancora la linea ADSL nella nuova casa. Per ora ho installato la 8.10 solo su un HD USB che collego al laptop aziendale. Appena lo installerò sul PC di casa ti farò sapere.

attualmente ho kubuntu intrepid con kernel 2.6.27-7-generic

non riesco a trovare i driver empia già pacchettizzati per questa versione.

qualcuno mi indica da dove li posso scaricare?

ragà, ma mi volete dire che io sono l'unico che proprio non ne viene a capo??

allora:

il pacchetto dei driver per k/ubuntu intrepid con kernel 2.6.27-7-generic (il mio) non l'ho trovato.

ad ogni modo ho scaricato da mcentral (con hg clone) i driver v4l-dvb, che dovrebbe essere la versione stabile dei driver.

la compilazione dei driver v4l-dvb (ho provato con questi, visto che non so quali scaricare ed installare) è andata a buon fine, ho scaricato e scompattato il firmware versione 3 (sia in /lib/firmware che in /lib/firmware/2.6.27-7-generic), ho riavviato, ho caricato i moduli em28xx e em28xx-dvb...

tutto bene, non un errore o altri intoppi.

Inserisco la scheda tv in questione, faccio partire kaffeine e....niente: nessuno wizard, nessuna ricerca dei canali in automatico(come mensionato in tantissime guide)....niente.

di seguito riporto quello che mi dice il terminale su sta benedetta scheda tv.

non hai il pacchetto che fornisce gli headers del tuo kernel:

installalo e già che ci sei verifica se hai anche i sorgenti del kernel e se non ce l'hai installa anche quelli.
