RISOLTO problemi con ati scheda mobile ibook g3 del 2001

:'( sono un nuovo utente chiedo aiuto perchè ho installato la nuova versione di ubuntu 8.04 per ppc su un Ibook G3 funziona tutto tranne il monitor del portatile che  è solo risoluzione 800x600 e non si può cambiare qui di seguito vi lascio i dati che vengono fuori con il comando

Da terminale lanciare:
Dopo numerossimi tentativi o risolto il probema anche se rimane il fatto che per accedere ad Ubuntu devo digitare i miei dati senza poter vedere il monito mi regolo all'accensione con il suono di apertura di ubuntu digito i miei dati ed il monitor si apre perfettamente esteso questa è la procedura che ho usato
per me ha funzionato ciong

sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Spostarsi nella sezione "Monitor" e aggiungere il ModeLine in modo simile a questo:
