Acer aspire 3630 and sis integrated graphic card.....

hello to everyone!!

just downloaded ubuntu and seems my old windows 3.1 look..... i mean so poor in graphic , can i have at list the mac osx bar with the applications? , and cooler folders with the description of the hd etc....

I have windows vista on the other partition and all the effects works!!

when in ubuntu , I try on enabeling the effects an error message is displayed.......

p.s. I know my graphic card cannot support beryl or compiz , but i just want normal effects!!

o caz*o.....ho scritto in inglese..... scusate....

il punto e' ho ubuntu 8.04 e non riesco a far partire gli effetti , non dico compiz ecc....ma gli effetti basilari , del tipo la barra stile mac os , e gli effetti nelle cartelle.....cosi' fa davvero schifo......

ho la sis integrata nel acer aspire 3630......
