Accelerazione OpenGL scomparsa....

Ciao a tutti!

Ho un problema stranissimo, non mi va più l'accelerazione OpenGL.... avevo anche installato UnrealTournament con wine, ma ora scatta in maniera allucinante.

Posto il mio xorg.conf nella speranza che qualche anima pia mi possa aiutare

La scomparsa dell'accelerazione è cominciata da quando ho riconfigurato xorg..... l'ho dovuto fare perchè anche se prima l' OpenGL andava, cedega non lo rilevava. (volevo provare Warcraft3)

Non so proprio che fare!

Con questo l'OpenGL è parzialmente funzionante: cioè, glxgears va bene, Unreal Tournament va bene, ma Cedega continua a non volerne sapere... ed in più posso impostare solo due risoluzioni 1280x800 e 1024x768

Un aiutino? :P

Ah dimenticavo.... uso dapper (nonostante sia un Niubbo con la N maiuscola)

Anche io ho un problema con l'accelerazione su una scheda 855gm (che usa gli stessi driver della tua): c'è sullo schermo del portatile ma non su quello esterno (assurdo, vero?).

Se non sbaglio, le uniche modifiche che hai fatto per far funzionare l'accelerazione consistono nel togliere "videoram" dalla sezione "device" e "HorizSync" e "VertRefresh" da quella monitor, giusto?

Comunque ecco il mio xorg.conf; come vedrai all'inizio carico dei moduli diversi dai tuoi (es. GLcore): prova a metterli e guarda che succede (purtroppo neanche il man di xorg.conf dice a che diavolo serva GLcore, ma dal nome sembrerebbe interessare OpenGL).

E se poi ti viene in mente qualcosa per il mio problema, spara pure (che spammone che sono, eh?

)

Sinceramente sono ancora in alto mare, ho fatto delle piccole prove, ma senza risultati..... almeno così uppo un pò la discussione!
