si sto da live cd, non mi fa salvare, ora provo il tuo comando

Questo dovrebbe essere il percorso giusto
Quindi devi aprire un terminale e digitare
cd /media/disk/boot/grub #per spostarti nella directory dove risiede menu.lst
sudo gedit menu.lst #per aprire menu.lst con un editor di testo (gedit) in modalità amministratore (sudo)
e cambi tutte le scritte
root (hd0,6)
in
root (hd0,2)

raga niente da fare, vi faccio vedereper sicurezza come ho editato il file menu.lst:

Da live cd come ti ho detto ieri.
Places -> computer e doppio click sulla partizione più piccola che hai (quella di boot che hai creato per intenderci) ti dovrebbe dare un errore, non farci caso, chiudi tutto e la trovi montata sulla scrivania, click dx e scegli browse

Bene il file e' ok.
Ora proviamo a riscrivere grub su mbr, e' semplice, segui la guida al primo punto oppure usa supergrub disk.

La tua partizione di boot e' sda6 e corrisponde a hd0,5
quindi root (hd0,5)
salta il punto 3
al punto 5 digita setup (hd0) per scrivere su mbr
quindi root (hd0,5)

allora sto seguendo il primo metodo della tua guida, arrivo a digitare : find /boot/grub/stage1
