[RISOLTO] 8.10 ERRORE WEBCAM LOGITECH INTEGRATA

Salve,
ho un portatile  Acer Aspire 5680 WLMi con  webcam Logitech integrata; ieri ho fatto l'avanzamento dalla 8.04 a 8.10.
Qualsiasi programma utilizzi (cheese, camorama, skype, amsn ... ), la mia webcam si accende (led verde) ma ma senza nessuna immagine o semplicemnte delle striature alternate bianco/grigio! cheese e camorama non si aprono nemmeno ... vanno in errore:

... navigando  qua è la,  ho travato qualcuno che suggeriva, di aprire il terminale e digitare:

export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so

per poi, il nome del programma da utilizzare ... sembra funzionare con skype, camorama e amsn ma nulla da fare con cheese!!!

MA POSSO FA STA SEMPRE STA VITA?!?!?!?!!?

di seguito una soluzione che risolve il problema per camorama, amsn, skype ... nulla da fare purtroppo per cheese .. cmq:

1) seguite quanto detto presso questo link: http://www.ippatsuman.com/blog/2008/10/31/webcam-con-driver-gspca-non-funzionano-su-intrepid-ibex/
2) da terminale:

sudo gedit /etc/profile

3) alla fine del file profile inserite questa riga:

#modulo per webcam.
export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so

4) riavviate il pc ed il gioco è fatto o almeno per il mio portatile!!

Ho seguito i vostri consigli ripristinando la webcam.

Ma su Amsn non sembra funzionare... Che fare?

con amsn lo script è totalmente inutile altre soluzioni?
ps ma come mai la canonical non risolve il problema?
p.s.s. il problema pare essere esteso a tutti i pc con kernel linux 2.6.27

Grazie a questo post sono riuscito a far funzionare una Orbicam su un Acer 5630 del mio vicino di casa
