aggiornare synaptic RISOLTO

Vorrei chiedere una informazione, è possibile aggiornare " Il gestore pacchetti synaptic" per avere tutte le nuove versioni dei programmi? ES: avere l'ultima versione di: caico dock-gimp-compiz-e tutte le nuove new entry? Ho provato a pigiare su ricarica, ma a mè sembra cambiato nulla :-\. Che mi dite?

Ciao, allora, synaptic esegue le funzioni di apt-get. Cioè, legge i repository che hai in /etc/apt/sources.list, controlla se, per ogni programma che c'è nel repository vede che versione c'è rispetto alla tua, nel caso in cui trova un programma che è aggiornato rispetto a quello che è installato sulla tua macchina te lo segna. Synaptic non puoi aggiornarlo. I repository si, tutto quello che vuoi. Leggiti bene come si installano i programmi e a che serve synaptic. Io l'ho sempre detto!!! MALEDETTE GUI!!!!

Se vuoi il software più nuovo che ci sia (per Ubuntu) puoi

1. abilitare i repository backports, che come si vede dal tuo sources.list hai già abilitato;
2. passare ad Intrepid Ibex (Ubuntu 8.10).

La differenza la vede synaptic. I repository non sono altro che dei siti in cui vengono messi i software con la loro relativa versione. Quindi, synaptic, fa il confronto tra la versione nei repository e quella che hai tu installato. Se trova software aggiornati te lo segna. Come? Ogni software installato ho il quadratino verde, quelli aggiornabili hanno il quadratino verde con una stella gialla. Li puoi installare premendo il tasto dopo "Ricarica". Ricarica fa esattamente quello che ti ho detto, cerca le versioni dei software nei repository. Adesso è chiaro?

Ditemi se faccio le cose giuste!! Ho aperto Synaptic, e ho cliccato su Mostra tutti gli Aggiornamenti,poi nella finestra di synaptic sulla sinistra ho cliccato su Istallato (aggiornabile) e mi sono usciti 4 pacchetti con il quadratino verde e la stellina. Quindi vuol dire che questi pacchetti che ho gia' istallato sul mio pc anno degli aggiornamenti,  Se sbaglio datemi del "pistola"

Ciao... Mi sa' che formulo la domanda male io!!! Mi spiego in forma elementare,allora: guello che mannaggia non riesco a capire è questo!! >:( >:( Se dovrebbe uscire qualche nuova versione, ES; Gimp, Inkscape, Cairo dock, o qualsiasi altro programma che ora ho sul mio pc, come faccio ad aggiornarli? Mi arriva l'aggiornamento in automatico o sono io che devo cambiarlo?  (mad) Nel mio /etc/apt/sources.list, che ho postato sopra, cosa sarebbero tutti quegli indirizzi segnati? http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/   http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/    http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu  ecc ecc.
