ciao ho da poco messo un nuovo hd da 250 su cui ho installato ubuntu 8.10 e ho formattato l'altro da 160 con vi.. vis.. nn riesco a dirlo scusate l'ultimo windows e ubuntu 8.04 e ci ho installato xp perchè mi serve per la scuola .... ecco il problema : prima di mettere xp ubuntu sul 250 andava , dopo aver messo xp andava solo xp anche se staccavo l'hd da 160 e partivo col 250 mi dava un errore ... così ho reistallato ubuntu sempre sul 250 pensando che xp avesse cancellato il grub e che installando ubuntu dopo avrei riavuto il grub con anche xp come succedeva per l'atro windows che ho tolto.... un altro problema :'( adesso ubuntu va ma nn parte xp! >:( potete aiutarmi ? nn vorrei riformattare e rinstallare tutto
dimenticavo sono andato a modificare il grub inserendo xp ma nn parte lo stesso fa starting up e rimane così all'infinito .... nella guida che ho usato per fare cio questo era previsto e c'era la soluzione ma se provo con quella mi da sempre l'errore NTLDR assente

e nn ti ha dato problemi mettere xp su un disco e poi ubuntu nell'altro? io penso di avere incasinato un po formatando e installando tutte quelle volte

no mai problemi.
Io avevo il disco grande da 320Gb con XP e l'altro da 40 con ubuntu. Poi ho mandato a quel paese XP e ho installato solo ubuntu. XP se mi serve lo virtualizzo. VMWare o virtual box e via...io consiglio questa soluzione (yes)
