[Grub] Problemi di avvio con Grub
All'avvio del computer, quando deve subentrare Grub per permettermi di scegliere il sistema operativo da avviare, la maggior parte delle volte compare semplicemente una linea lampeggiante in alto a sinistra, come quella tipo Ms-Dos che serve per immettere qualche comando, però in questo caso la tastiera non funziona. L'unica soluzione è resettare il computer e dopo 3-4 tentativi appare la lista di avvio dei sistemi; ho provato ad aggiornare il bios, e a formattare nuovamente il computer ma niente. Ho 3 partizioni, 2 primarie con Windows XP (NTFS) e Ubuntu 8.10 (ext3) e una logica di Swap. Mi domando se percaso devo modificare l'ordine delle partizioni o magari cambiare le partizioni da logiche a primarie; Potreste aiutarmi? Tutta la mia famiglia e me compreso ci scocciamo di resettare continuamente il computer, credo che si danneggi pure un po'... :-\

Appena riesci ad entrare in Ubuntu , apri un terminale e digita :
sudo fdisk -l #e' una elle
e copiaincolla qui il risultato.
Dopodiche digita
cat /boot/grub/menu.lst
e copiaincolla qui l'out tra i tag -code- (il cancelletto sopra le faccine)
Appena riesci ad entrare in Ubuntu , apri un terminale e digita :
sudo fdisk -l #e' una elle
e copiaincolla qui il risultato.
Dopodiche digita
cat /boot/grub/menu.lst
e copiaincolla qui l'out tra i tag -code- (il cancelletto sopra le faccine)

nel frattempo ho riformattato e ho impostato sia la swap che la ext3 come primarie per vedere se cambiava qualcosa; pare che non si blocchi per il momento;
