[risolto] [Kernel] avanzamento intrepid su usb HD, kernel rimasto alla 2.6.24

salve a tutti!
ho eseguito l'avanzamento da hardy ad intrepid sul SO ke avevo installato nel mio hard disk USB e sembrava essere andato tutto a buon fine, quando invece al riavvio, il grub mi dice:

come faccio a far partire il mio linux cn il kernel esatto ed eventualmente cancellare qll inutile(se è inutile una volta aggiornato!!!)??

P.S. considerate ke x fare il boot strap da usb ho dovuto modificare root (hd0,0)

ho provato pure a lanciare update-initramfs -u che esegue senza errori, ma non risolve!!!

ok, risolto....pensavo ke c'era una procedura automatizzata....o forse c'è nel momento in cui faccio l'update e dico di aggiornare il menu.lst; cosa ke nn ho fatto x paura di smantellare il bootstrap da usb disk!
x far comparire pure il memory test e la recovery mode quali img devo rikiamare??????

Esatto
per le altre voci basta sostituire i nuovi vmlinuz e initrd come ho fatto io.
