Aggiornamento fallito

ciao a tutti,
ho un problema nel fare gli aggiornamenti nel senso che mi viene fuori il triangolino giallo sulla barra in alto e quando si apre la finestra e clicco su "verifica" mi viene fuori questo errore:

dove le due strighe di testo all'interno della finestra sono:

Impossibile ottenere http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dis ... lease  Unable to find expected entry  intrepid/source/Sources in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)
Impossibile scaricare alcune file di indice, essi verranno ignorati, oppure si useranno quelli precedenti.

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

In modo da vedere se c'è robaccia, in genere basta eliminare o commentare qualche riga inutile o problematica.  :P

Lo so che è un sistema rozzo però in genere funziona senza sbattimenti.

e vedi se ti dà ancora problemi...

scrivo  cat /etc/apt/sources.list dal terminale decommento e salvo da lì o devo farlo in un altro modo?

commenti le righe che vuoi con un #  o decommenti togliendo il # salvi e dai:

e vedi se da ancora errori

ho commentato le stringhe che mi ha detto dj GCE, salvato e fatto apt-get update e in fondo mi da questo errore:
