Hai seguito questa procedura?

::) Per non fare ulteriore confusione ho deciso di abbandonare live cd. Quindi ho rifatto il percorso di quando funzionava e cioè:

non va spacchettato.
Apri il file snapscan.conf

Codice: Seleziona tutto

sudo gedit /etc/sane.d/snapscan.conf

e modifica il percoso

firmware /usr/share/sane/snapscan/your-firmwarefile.bin in

firmware /usr/share/sane/snapscan/u34v110.bin

salva e chiudi.

Creati la dir snapscan e copiaci dentro il firmware .bin

sudo mkdir /usr/share/sane/snapscan

e ammesso che il firmware sia sul desktop

sudo cp Scrivania/u34v110.bin /usr/share/sane/snapscan/

riavvia e vedi se funziona

(A questo punto lo scanner funzionava)

Adesso invece ti posto l'esito del terminale:

Forse c'è un "/" di troppo? alla fine di snapscan?

per il tuo scanner devi usare un altro firmware  ( clicca su link per scaricarlo ). La procedura però è la stessa. Ciao

grazie ethil ma il firmware l'ho gia scaricato non so se lo hai capito, ma non so istallarlo e on so cosa farci ok ora?

apri un terminale, Applicazioni-accessori-terminale e segui le istruzioni postate sopra. È semplicissimo, devi solo sostituire u34v110.bin col tuo firmware che è u176v046.bin. Usa pure il copia e incolla ricordando solo di modificare il nome del firmware.

ho capito. Premi alt+F2 scrivi gksu nautilus  metti la password e  ti fa copiare il file col copia/incolla.

nota che il firmware è diverso ( u176v046.bin ), di conseguenza assicurati di aver copiato nella cartella snapscan il file giusto, come ti avevo scritto qualche post fa.
