Ho la tua stessa scheda video sul tuo stesso notebook

Avevo anche io gli stessi problemi coi drivers. E' appurato che si tratta di un bug degli ultimi drivers ati. Una soluzione per abilitare il 3d, è installare i drivers 8.24.8

Adesso il 3d funziona

Dopo questa guida se digito fglrxinfo mi compare:

è normale?

1- Poi ho notato che all'avvio del computer alla voce 'Prepare restricted drivers' dice 'failed'

2- Con la mia scheda video così posso abilitare l'xgl?

3- Ogni volta che avvio mi spunta il messaggio con nuovi aggiornamenti e ho notato che sono appunti due voci con scritto la versione driver ati 8.25(quindi l'ultima), naturalmente se l'installo perderei il 3D: c'è un modo per levarli dall'update?

Anche io ho lo stesso output. Credo sia tutto apposto

1) non è normale... a me non lo da...

2) io ci ho provato ma non ci sono riuscito. La nostra scheda video è purtroppo un po' problematica. Se ci riesci fammi un fischio

3) Si ti conviene non installarli. Mi pare ci sia un modo in synaptic per bloccare la versione dei pacchetti...
