GRUB CON WINDOWS risolto

Salve, dopo aver ripristinato con super grub, all'avvio parte Ubintu direttamente senza la finestra ove possa scegliere se partire con  WIN o Ubu.
Cosa posso fare?

c'è da dire che windows l'ho installato dopo ubuntu e prima che usassi "super grub" mi partiva solo win, ma questo era normale, mentre adesso solo Ubuntu, ma nn chiedermi come ho fatto! cmq proverò la tua soluzione

Per aggiungere Win a Grub, segui la guida e se hai bisogno chiedi pure.

niente da fare! o parte ubuntu o parte win. sono riuscito ad abilitare la finestra per la scelta del sistema con cui partire, ma non compare win!

potrebbe essere che hai sbagliato opsione di super grub disk... io ho fatto un errore simile...

Se ubuntu parte una volta dentro

sudo apt-get install  --reinstall grub e poi segui metodo 2

se hai installato su filesystem xfs serve il metodo uno

Un'ultima domanda, per cancellare dalla lista del menu GRUB il riferimento al vecchio kernel, lo dovrei fare sempre modificando il file boot/grub/menu.lst ?

lo puoi fare con Qgrub editor...

se vuoi solo che non appaia, nel file menu.lst, commenti le righe corrispondenti con #
altrimenti puoi disinstallarlo da synaptic.

Almeno un kernel vecchio, è sempre meglio tenerlo, in caso di sfighe.
