[Desktop] Installare temi GTK 2.x

Ho scaricato un paio di temi GTK ma non riesco in nessun modo ad installarli. Ho provato a leggere la documentazione che ho trovato in giro ma non ho trovato niente di utile. Qualcuno sa spiegarmi cosa devo fare?  ???

beh... puoi anche trascinare col mouse semplicemente l'archivio scaricato direttamente nella finestra delle preferenze dell'aspetto nella scheda "temi"

ecco, con questi metodi non me li fa installare.. non capisco perchè  ???

edit: mi dice sempre che manca il motore di temi gtk+ aurora o altre cose (dipende dal tema)

Allora devi procurarti il gtk engine (il motore che permette la buona resa di un tema) per il particolare tema che vuoi installare. Aurora è uno di questi e dovresti poterlo installare tramite Synaptic.

Consiglio: se scarichi i temi da gnome-look, fai caso a quanto scrive l'autore del tema: spesso, infatti, sono fornite le informazioni per la corretta installazione, trai cui il gtk engine più adeguato.

sto provando a installare gtk 2.10 ma ogni volta mi chiede di installare prima altra roba (cairo , pango, dlib ..) che a sua volta mi richiede roba che non ho  :'(
ma non c'è un bel pacchetto unico per sto gtk??

un'altra cosa mi dici esattamente che errore ti da quando cerchi di mettere un nuovo tema?
