ho installato jaunty ho avuto qualche problema di avvio visto che ho 2 hd e mi ha intallato grub su entrambi. nel risolvere questo nn ho notato un altro problema
grub ha riconosciuto windows ma se lo avvio mi da errore 13
che devo fare??

in kde4.1 c'era un modo per settarlo da system setting che nel 4.2 nn c'è

Segui il primo metodo http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/AmministrazioneSistema/Grub/Ripristino?highlight=(grub)della lista ed alla fine invece di setup(hd0) imposti
setup (hd1) in modo da reiscrivere l'mbr del disco dove hai ubuntu, dopodiche' al riavvio imposti il bios per l'avvio del hd dove hai ubuntu e dovrebbe essere tutto ok.

sudo kate (o altro editor di testo)
apri il file /boot/grub/menu.lst
ed aggiungi le linee map

da terminale
sudo grub
find /boot/grub/stage1
otterrai una risposta del tipo
(hd?,?) ,ovviamente al posto dei punti interrogativi ci saranno dei numeri.
sempre dallo stesso termianle digiti
root (hd?,?) sostituendo ? con i numeri
setup (hd1)
quit
salvi e riavvii
