[risolto]help dual boot windows 7 rc e ubuntu 9.04

ieri ho installato la release candidate di windows 7. Mi funzionava perfettamente. Oggi siccome il boot manager di windows non mi permetteva di avviare ubuntu, seguendo una guida sul web sono riuscito a reinstallare grub. Adesso posso avviare ubuntu, ma non windows 7.
Qualche soluzione?

e aggiungi un # davanti all'ultima, in modo che diventino:

prova le varie combinazioni togliendo boot, e/o sostituendo rootnoverify a root

ho provato tutte le combinazioni possibili e immaginabili, ma ancora niente.
Invece non è perchè windows è installato in una partizione logica?

Riavvia.

non so perchè ci sia il flag di boot su /dev/sda2, perchè io windows 7 l'ho installato su /dev/sda6, che è una partizione logica.
Comunque windows non boota neanche reinstallando grub per l'ennesima volta.

in partizioni logiche windows non sta.. oppure, ci sta, ma non si avvia..

se non ricordo male, windows avvia SOLO su partizioni primarie...

ma non ricordo se con le opzioni di grub ci sia modo di avviarlo ugualmente

Prima di tutto ho installato ubuntu 9.04. Mi funzionava perfettamente.
Poi ho installato windows 7 rc su partizione logica /dev/sda6. Mi funzionava perfettamente ma non si avviava ubuntu. Allora ho reinstallato grub con i comandi:
sudo grub
root=(hd0,0)
setup (hd0)
quit

Adesso mi funziona ubuntu ma windows non si avvia.

allora evidentemente su seven hanno risolto il problema, e ora avvia anche da logica... evidentemente il problema è un altro  ???

hai provato ad usare il mapping di grub?
per intenderci, questo:

con il mapping di grub provando ad avviare windows ora mi dice:
error 12 : Invalid device requested
su sda2 ho vari dati però dopo l'installazione di windows ho notato una cartella con all'interno vari file che prima non c'era chiamata Boot

Questo errore si verifica quando la riga root che identifica il dispositivo non è corretta.



Ma dentro alla boot che file ci sono ? (IT it ?)
C'è solo la boot o anche tutte le altre di windows ?

Oggi ho reinstallato windows e quindi non potevo avviare ubuntu, perciò ho reinstallato grub e adesso sono al punto di partenza: posso avviare ubuntu ma non windows seven.
C'è un modo per poter avviare tutti e due i sistemi operativi?
