Repository Ubuntu studio

Sto prendendo in considerazione l'idea di provare Ubuntu studio(visti i mille problemi con la 9.04)
E mi chiedevo,ma i repository come faccio a sapere quali sono?
Cioè se ad esempio installo wine o compiz,i repo ci sono per ubuntu 8.10 9.04 ecc....
Io quali dovrei mettere?

P.S:Se siete a conoscenza di qualcosa che dovrei sapere prima di formattare sono tutto orecchie

Cmq cosa intendi con reinstalli da zero?
pensavo di formattare e installare studio sopra alla 9.04
Colgo l'occasione per togliermi un dubbio
Se io metto il dvd e faccio partire l'installazione,è come se formattassi o c'è proprio un proceso apposta?

è come se formatti...anzi ti formatta lui ....ovviamente devi dirgli dove installarlo....a me su ubuntu studio non funzionano i suoni di sistema....buffo vero? un sistema nato per l'editing audio senza l'audio... (rotfl) (rotfl) (rotfl) (rotfl) (rotfl)

Gia che ci sei se puoi dimmi che pc hai(se è un portatile)
Cosi se abbiamo lo stesso mi risparmio il problema
cmq tu sai qualcosa sui repository?
ed è molto più pesante di ubuntu lo studio?
perchè sono indeciso...

ho un portatilo,fujitsu siemens amilo a1650g scheda video ciofeca ati radeon x200m. svhedi wifi atheros.
non è che sia piu pesante però contiene un sacco di programmi in piu per la grafica,l'editing audio e video e non ha openoffice che dovrai installare dopo.

ma se io installassi ad esempio wine,che repo dovrei mettere in lista? ???

boh.... io wine non lo uso..comunque credo che i repo siano gli stessi di ubuntu normale...
