[RISOLTO] Errore VISTA dopo installazione UBUNTU 9.04

Salve a tutti,
ho installato sul mio portatile, dotato già di s.o. vista, ubuntu 9.04... dopo l'installazione di ubuntu riavviando il pc e scegliendo vista quest'ultimo non parte; dopo l'avanzamento della barra di caricamento mi esce una schermata bianca con scritto ERROR... ubuntu invece funziona benissimo... sapreste aiutarmi nel cercare di recuperare vista???
cmq quando ho installato ubuntu nella scelta delle partizioni ho scelto la terza opzione: installa nello spazio libero contiguo... il mio pc è dotato di un unico hard disk...
spero mi possiate aiutare... grazie anticipatamente...

a. sei sicuro che in qualche modo non ti ha toccato la partizione di vista?
b. che errore ti da?

sudo fdisk -l

no cmq adesso nn sto su ubuntu, sto scrivendo da un altro computer... quindi non posso postare i risultati di sudo fdisk...
cmq di sicuro avrò intaccato la partizione di vista dato k nn ho seguito la guida su come partizionare vista...
cmq l'unica soluzione è formattare????????????

ma tu vista ce l'hai su sda1 o sda2? è in fat32 o in ntfs?

Prova intanto di cambiare la voce sbagliata in  fondo in

cambia
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
in
rootnoverify (hd0,1)
salva e riavvia per provare se ti parte selezionando sua voce nel menu di grub
