Errore Gparted non si avvia

Salve ho da poco installato gparted ma quando l'avvio mi da il seguente errore:

laptop:~$ gparted

laptop:~$

Qualcuno sa come posso risolvere? premetto che ho cercato ma con scarsi risultati...

niente da fare solo che comparsa una cosa nuova

ho notato che anche screenlets da lo stesso problema...

Anche io ho avuto problemi con gparted, ho scaricato il live-cd e ho ripartizionato con quello senza problemi, prova anche tu.

il problema non e partizionare e che non mi funzionano alcuni programmi tutti con lo stesso errore... adesso anche vmware

qualcuno puo provare a installare screenlets ed avviarlo da shell per capire se un problema del mio pc oppure un bug del sistema? grazie
