alla fine mi sono deciso a postare visto che non sono riuscito a risolvere il problema cercando tra i 3d già aperti.
Mi presento brevemente: seguo linux da un pò ma il mio vecchio portatile aveva un winmodem che mi ha sempre dato rogne così sono un vero utente GNU/Linux solo da giugno, una volta preso l'Acer Aspire fisso in una megaofferta di Mediaworld. Non ho neanche visto XP(neanche accettata l'eula subito piallato) ed ho installato subito Ubuntu.
Gnome mi piaceva come grafica ma KDE è decisamente più comodo, cosi installo il pacchetto per Kubuntu e rimuovo la maggior parte di Gnome;qualche applicazione resta , lo sò che ci vorrebbe forse uin'installazione pulita magari ci penserò con la 6.10 anche se proprio non mi và.
Veniamo al punto:
Come da oggetto fin dall'inizio il mouse ottico ps/2 acer che in realtà vedo sotto col marchietto logitech ogni tanto sposta il puntatore se faccio dei gesti in su e giù la qual cosa mi ha fatto pensare a delle mouse gesture che non ho installato volutamente. In realtà la cosa non è proprio regolare ma spesso il putnatore si sposta agli angoli dello schermo o sulla K del menù.
Avevo pensato che la risposta fosse in questio 3d http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/viewtopic.php?t=28490
ma sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg non mi cambia nulla. ho provato ad usare entrambe le impostazioni del mouse proposte sia la Explorer/PS2 che l'altra ma non cambia nulla.
Spero abbiate suggerimenti su quello che posso fare

faccio notare che ho provato ad usare anche il mouse ps/2 a "pallina" che usavo prima ed il problema è lo stesso.
