Cool'n'quiet AMD 64 (RISOLTO)

Ciao colleghi.
Premetto che ho installato ubuntu da qualche settimana e già sono riuscito a configurare molte cose del mio hardware ma mi resta il problema del cool'n'quiet detto anche powernow.
La mia cpu è un athlon 64 3200+, il kernel invece è 2.6.15-27-K7, vorrei spiegato come fare a configurare un tool simile a rmclock (windows) che mi permetta di variare freq. e voltaggio allo stesso tempo.
Ho avviato da shell powernowd ma mi dice:
powernowd: PowerNow Daemon v0.97, (c) 2003-2006 John Clemens

/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_max_freq: No such file or directory
PowerNowd encountered and error and could not start.
Please make sure that:
- You are running a v2.6.7 kernel or later
- That you have sysfs mounted /sys
- That you have the core cpufreq and cpufreq-userspace
  modules loaded into your kernel
- That you have the cpufreq driver for your cpu loaded,
  (for example: powernow-k7), and that it works. Check
  'dmesg' for errors.
If all of the above are true, and you still have problems,

ok ragazzi ho visto i link ma a quanto pare c'è bisogno di un modulo che si chiama cpufreq che non trovo nei repository, c'è cpufreqd ma è un'altro pacchetto infatti mi richiede di disinstallare powernowd.
E' questo il problema.

aggiornamento: ragazzi ho risolto avevo dimenticato ad attivare l'opzione nel bios della scheda madre...
che scemo.
